Our first stop will be to equip ourselves with the safety clothing (waterproof jacket and pants, rubber boots, helmet and an electric lamp), then stop at the mining market where you can buy presents for the miners (coca leaves, soft drinks, cigarettes) and even dynamite).

Next, we will visit a refining plant known as Los Ingenios, the place where the minerals from the mines are purified using different machineries and chemical reagents. Later, we will make a stop at the place with the best panoramic views of the city and the majestic Cerro Rico.

We arrive at the main attraction of the visit, which consists in visiting the interior of the Rosario Bajo and Candelaria Baja mines, belonging to the Unified Cooperative. Inside the mine we will visit the different work places where there are more than 100 miners performing different activities. We will also visit the image of the Uncle, the god of the miners, owner of all the wealth that exists in the hill, a place inside the mine where the miners gather every Friday to make offerings and rituals.
