Tour Itinerary

Day 1

At 07:00 we will leave from Santa Cruz on comfortable bus, heading to the towns of Cotoca, Pailas, Pailón, Los Troncos. With destination to San Javier. In San Javier, we will visit the oldest church, mission founded by the Jesuits (1691). , to continue the journey towards conception (approximately 1 ½ hours of travel), where you can see the different granite rock formations (the Paquio stones) between palms and jungle islands.

We will arrive to Concepcion at noon for lunch and then leave for San Ignacio, an interesting tour that will make us observe lagoons, swamps and forests populated by a varied wildlife. (4 hrs approx.) Arrival in San Ignacio, accommodation at the hotel dinner and rest

Day 2

Very early after breakfast we will go to the most isolated villages of the Mission, where the traditions remain more genuine, we will visit the Church of San Miguel and San Rafael, where the industriousness of the Chiquitanos is reflected in the decorations and beautiful sculptures preserved there , we will continue to the Church of Santa Ana, the smallest and best preserved in its ancient missionary spirit. Refreshments on the road After lunch we will return to Concepción, crossing landscapes of colorful vegetation, spotting herons, coots and other birds.

They will arrive at their hotel in Concepción to have dinner and rest

Day 3

After breakfast we will visit the Church of Concepción, a true Jewel of the 18th Century, and the Missionary Museum where you can see the different carvings that the Chiquitanos elaborate for the maintenance of the churches

we’ll head towards San Javier where we’ll stop for lunch

Finally we will return to Santa Cruz arriving at 7:00 p.m.
