In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and set off  in a 4×4 vehicle towards the village of Samaipata. First we will visit the waterfalls called Las Cuevas and have time to explore a little and enjoy bathing by the waterfalls and natural pools. From here we will continue to the town of Samaipata where we will have lunch. In the town we will take alook around the plaza and the visit the museum and your guide will explain to you about the site and its history. From the museum we will drive up the hill to the Unesco World Heritage site itself and tour the ruins and carved rock. The site visit is around 2 hours before we set off back to Santa Cruz stopping along the way for some photo opportunites.

• The site of ‘The Fort’ has some raised walkways (not very high just a few meters) and stairways, whilst not strenuous we thought it was worth mentioning in case someone doesn’t like using raised walkways.

• There is a minimum group size if 1 person for this tour and a maximum of 6 (any more would not be comfy in the 4×4 vehicle). You can book multiple groups if you have a large number than this though.
