Tour Itinerary

Full Day

Pick up from the hotel at 03:00 am to take the bus to take the train at 05:00, 06:10 or 06:40 arriving at Aguas Calientes at 06:35, 07:40 or 08:10 where a guide It will be waiting for you to take you to your bus to Machu Picchu. The bus trip to the ruins lasts approximately 20 minutes and upon arrival you will meet your group for a guided tour of 2 hours. After the tour, you will have the rest of the day to explore the site at your own pace or take an alternative tour, such as visiting the Puerta del Sol. The park closes at 5:30 p.m., which gives you more than 6 hours to enjoy the beauty of the ruins, so plan your exit accordingly. It takes 20 minutes by bus, approximately 2 hours on foot to Aguas Calientes. Return trains leave at 2:30 PM, 4:12 PM, 4:22 PM, 6:20 PM and 7:00 PM. and arrives at Ollantaytambo at 15:56, 17:50, 18:10 and 20:05 where the bus transport will be waiting to bring you back to Cusco. Driving by bus to Ollantaytambo – Cusco takes approximately. 1 hr 40 min to 2 hrs.
